Message from Pastor Mike
“Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.” John 15:4 NIV

Resolutions, it is the one thing that is part of the New Year that we all have done.The bad thing about resolutions is we struggle with keeping them. The good thing is we have a desire to see our life improve. This means we have hope. But what are we we putting our hope in, that is the question. Resolutions mean we are putting our hope in our self, our ability to do something. This is the reason resolutions don’t work, it’s us doing it. Jesus says, “If you remain in me, and I in you, you will bear fruit,” and because I am just a branch I can’t do it. I need to be connected to a life giving power source the vine Jesus.

If you want to resolve to do something that will make your life better, something that will produce fruit like love, patience, joy, kindness, and self control, resolve this year to either begin or deepen your relationship with God ~ the resolution that never fails.
